    In social debates about inclusion, the humane, the individual person, runs the risk of being lost from view, as the discussions are often only conducted on a systemic-structural level. However, aspects of concrete pedagogical and conceptual work and educational encounters are also affected. This volume is dedicated to the diversity of individuals in their respective contexts in the spectrum between inclusions and exclusions from different theoretical and practical perspectives. From everyday situations in German and American classrooms to school inclusion models and the Federal Participation Act to humane exclusions in the internationally networked digital age; from discourses on vulnerability, ethics and exclusion to the topos of the stranger in the educational inclusion debate, multiple perspectives open up.

    This paper revises and updates the Campi-Nuvolari index of intellectual property protection for plant varieties (Campi and Nuvolari, 2015). The new index has been updated and provides yearly scores for the period 1961-2018 for a total number of 104 countries, which have legislation on plant variety protection in force. The new evidence highlights the tendency towards more similar and stronger systems of intellectual property rights (IPRs) worldwide, regardless of individual characteristics of countries. The signing of the TRIPS and of trade agreements with TRIPS-Plus provisions are major drivers of this process. In addition, certain features of countries such as the regulatory environment, the level of human capital, the importance of agricultural production, and openness to trade, are also significant determinants of the evolution of IPRs systems. We conclude discussing other possible applications of the data.

    This thesis organized in three chapters analyzes the disintegration of the pharmaceutical production activity from the perspective of Industrial Relations. To do so, we use successively an empirical approach, a qualitative approach and a comparative approach. The first chapter provides an empirical characterization of the externalization process between 1993 and 2016, by using public databases (EAE/ESANE/DADS). We first show that this process implies a recurrent pattern: a multinational laboratory (bigpharma) that wishes to transfer a factory to a specialized actor who becomes the subcontractor of the lab. Then, by using aggregated indicators, we exhibit that these specialized actors are facing an important deterioration of profitability. Following Berlinski (2008) or Dube and Kaplan (2010) we assess the impact of the externalization process over the distribution of qualifications and over wages. Our results indicate that, all things equal otherwise, externalization leads to an important deterioration in the remuneration conditions for subcontractor employees, between 8.5% and 21.6% on average, depending on the position in the classification. The second chapter aims to provide a better understanding of these degradations and more generally of how industrial organization affects social relations. Based on two case studies, one being iconic of multinational laboratories and the other of specialized subcontractors, we show that bigpharma subsidiaries and subcontracting companies are facing the same kind of productive and financiary segmentation. These types of segmentation are leading to economic, financiary and organizational dependency on decision centers. Our results concur to those of Doellgast and al. (2016), according to which the subsidiaries of multinational companies can be considered as internal subcontractors. We argue that the segmentation can be used as a way to defeat employee representation, which explains why employee representatives fail to maintain good work conditions in a profitable sector. Consequently, social relations might be seen as a determinant of segmentation. In the last chapter, we seek to identify the most powerful resources that an industrial relations system can confer, to enhance the ability of employee representatives to influence their working conditions. To do so, we compare the French and Quebecer systems and then the effective working conditions of two factories of the same multinational that manufacture the same products. We show that labour unity, strike and expertise are key resources. Then, we explain the differences in working and employment conditions for employees of the two subsidiaries, disentangling the respective effects of these three resources, of the position in the value chain and the control exercised by the parent company. ; Articulée autour de trois chapitres mobilisant respectivement une méthodologie quantitative, qualitative et comparative, cette thèse analyse la désintégration de l'activité de production pharmaceutique sous l'angle des relations professionnelles. Le premier chapitre s'attache à caractériser empiriquement le mouvement d'externalisation de l'activité de production entre 1993 et 2016, à l'aide des Enquêtes Annuelles d'Entreprise (Insee), du dispositif d'Élaboration des Statistiques Annuelles d'Entreprise (Insee) et des Déclarations Annuelles des Données Sociales (Dares). Nous montrons que ce processus s'organise autour de la cession d'usines dont les laboratoires souhaitent se séparer. Ces usines sont alors acquises par des acteurs spécialisés dans la fabrication sous contrat, les façonniers, se constituant par rachats successifs et devenant les preneurs d'ordres des laboratoires cédants. Sur la base d'indicateurs agrégés, nous mettons en lumière la dégradation des conditions de rentabilité des façonniers à mesure qu'augmente le nombre d'années séparant de la cession. Dans la lignée des travaux de Berlinski (2008) ou encore de Goldschmidt et Schmieder (2015), nous faisons apparaitre que l'externalisation conduit à « sortir » les salariés les moins qualifiés et amène une nette dégradation des conditions de rémunérations des salariés du façonnage, entre 8,5 % et 21,6 % en moyenne selon la position dans la classification, toutes choses égales par ailleurs. Dans le second chapitre, nous cherchons à identifier les processus susceptibles d'expliquer cette dégradation de la rentabilité et ce différentiel de rémunération, mais aussi plus généralement à comprendre comment les relations sociales dans leur ensemble sont influencées par l'éclatement financier et productif, au cœur de la structuration industrielle du secteur. [.] Dans le dernier chapitre, nous cherchons alors à mieux comprendre dans quelles mesures l'ensemble des institutions relatives au système de relations industrielles peut constituer une ressource déterminante pour la capacité des représentants du personnel à influencer leurs conditions de travail et d'emploi. Nous employons une méthodologie comparative appuyée sur deux filiales d'un même laboratoire multinational réalisant exactement la même activité, mais implantées dans deux territoires différents, la France et le Québec, disposant de normes légales relatives au travail et d'institutions en matière de relations professionnelles très différentes. Nous présentons, sous un angle comparatif, les normes du travail en vigueur, les caractéristiques des systèmes de relations professionnelles en France et au Québec et la manière dont interagissent ces deux dimensions. L'analyse dynamique permet de faire apparaître un renforcement de l'intervention de l'État québécois, à l'opposé des possibilités grandissantes de déroger à l'ordre public social en France, appuyé sur un renvoi accru à la négociation collective décentralisée. Nous nous attachons ensuite à dresser pour chacun des territoires, une synthèse des caractéristiques des systèmes de relations professionnelles pouvant affecter les pouvoirs institutionnel et d'association des syndicats. En analysant la manière dont ces caractéristiques s'articulent les unes aux autres au cours des processus de négociation, nous identifions trois ressources clés que sont le recours à la grève, l'absence de division syndicale et le recours à l'expertise. Nous expliquons alors les divergences de conditions de travail et d'emploi des salariés des deux filiales, en démêlant les effets respectifs de ces trois ressources, de la position dans la chaîne de valeur et du contrôle exercée par la maison-mère.

    Abstract: School subjects have been criticized for their inability to make room for 21st century skills and for being disconnected from contemporary modes of knowledge production that work in cross-disciplinary and creative ways. However, other voices have claimed that post-disciplinary curricula underestimate the importance of the construction of intergenerational, specialized conversations about knowledge in schools. This article looks at contemporary curriculum reforms in order to analyze how they relate to these shifts and debates about disciplinary knowledge. The study presents eight curriculum documents set in effect between 2004 and 2018, which act as national regulatory frameworks for compulsory education in Latin America, Europe and Australia.     Abstract: Reflexion und Reflexivität werden im Kontext verschiedener Reformanstrengungen in Schule, Unterricht und Lehrer:innenbildung verstärkt diskutiert und sind zudem mit hohen Professionalisierungserwartungen verbunden. Aktuelle Forschungsbefunde verweisen allerdings auf einen noch immer hohen Aushandlungs-, Systematisierungs- und Entwicklungsbedarf, auf Widersprüche und offene Fragen. Diese standen im Mittelpunkt der gemeinsamen Tagung der DGfE-Sektion Schulpädagogik im September 2021, innerhalb derer die 29. Der berufliche Wiedereinstieg von zugewanderten Lehrkräften mit und ohne Fluchthintergrund wurde jedoch lange Zeit vernachlässigt. Diesem Thema widmet sich der vorliegende Band, der im europäischen Projekt „International Teachers for Tomorrow’s School“ (ITTS) entstanden ist. In sieben Länderbeiträgen werden die Chancen und Herausforderungen des beruflichen Wiedereinstiegs in Belgien, Deutschland, Griechenland, Island, Polen, Slowenien und der Türkei beleuchtet – in einigen Ländern wurde damit Neuland betreten. Dabei wird aufgezeigt, welche Rahmenbedingungen den beruflichen Neufang begünstigen, herausfordern oder verhindern. Darüber hinaus werden die Ergebnisse der länderübergreifenden ITTS-Studie vorgestellt, die hohe Zufriedenheitswerte bei jenen Lehrkräften zeigt, denen der Wiedereinstieg trotz vieler Hürden gelungen ist.     Abstract: Global migration movements are also reflected in classrooms. However, the professional re-entry of migrant teachers with and without a refugee background has been neglected for a long time. This publication, which was developed in the European project "International Teachers for Tomorrow's School" (ITTS), is dedicated to this question. In seven country contributions, the opportunities and challenges of returning to work in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Poland, Slovenia and Türkiye are examined - for some of the countries, new ground was broken. It is shown which conditions favour, challenge or prevent a new professional start. In addition, the results of the cross-national ITTS study are presented, in which high satisfaction values are reflected among those teachers who succeeded in re-entering the profession despite many hurdles. Finally, the findings of the project are condensed into a series of hints and recommendations. (DIPF/Orig.)

Diese Verweise auf andere Bildungssysteme haben jedoch in der Regel mehr mit der von vorexistierenden Stereotypen beeinflussten Beobachter*innenperspektive zu tun als mit den Bildungssystemen, auf die verwiesen wird. [Diese Arbeit] unterzieht diese Verweisungsprozesse in den Mediendiskursen Deutschlands und Festlandchinas (2001-2020) einer genaueren Analyse.
