    Monologic dialogues and dialogue structures in Wedekind's 'Frühlings Erwachen' A drama presents a plot which is constituted through dialogues between the characters. This article therefore attempts to explore several instances of dialogue from Wedekind's 'Frühlings Erwachen' by conversationalanalytical means; such an approach facilitates a clear description of the characters' failures in their interactions. This in turn reveals the specific features of literary dialogues from this period, which are constituted in writing and thus precisely planned; an author not only imitates acts and actors via a play's dialogues, but fundamentally creates and moulds the characters through dialogue.

    Based on translations of the Lord's Prayer (Mt 6, 9-13) and translations of other Bible passages dating from 1522 to 2017, Luther's working processes were reconstructed and his influence on later editions of his Bible was traced. It becomes evident that Luther wanted not 'merely' to translate the Bible, but to actually write a German Bible.

    In einem modernen Staat finden immer wieder Gedenkveranstaltungen unterschiedlichster Art statt. Man will sich schöner und weniger schöner, beglückender und traumatischer Ereignisse erinnern, um daraus sich selbst und der Welt ein Wir- Gefühl und ein Selbstbild zu präsentieren. In diesem Sinn wurden am 8. Mai 1985 und am 8. Mai 2005 Gedenkveranstaltungen im Plenarsaal des Deutschen Bundestages abgehalten; Hauptredner waren die jeweiligen Bundespräsidenten, 1985 Richard von Weizsäcker, 2005 Horst Köhler. Beide Reden - sie werden Gegenstand der nachfolgenden Analysen und Interpretationen sein - sind heute im Internet leicht abrufbar: Die Rede von Weizsäckers habe ich von der Homepage der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, die Rede Köhlers vom Internetauftritt des Bundespräsidialamtes bezogen. Die beiden Texte, die mir in dieser Form zugänglich wurden, werde ich nun beschreiben.

    Cílem tohoto článku je popsat, co je styl každodenního života a jak se liší od stylu poezie. Na základě stylistické analýzy básně "Panter" Rainera Marii Rilka je zřejmé, že Rilkovi nešlo primárně o zvíře jako takové, ale o to, jak chycené zvíře prožívá svoje uvěznění. Jako kontrast k básni je použita kapitola o panterovi v Brehmově "Životu zvířat". V tomto případě mluvčí vypovídá o světě, který je podle jeho přesvědčení skutečný. The aim of this essay is to describe the style of everyday life as compared to poetry. For this reason the style of the poem "Der Panther" by Rainer Maria Rilke is analysed. It becomes clear that Rilke is not primarily interested in the animal itself, but in how a captured being feels in captivity. The poem is contrasted with the chapter of the panther in "Brehm's Tierleben". In this case the speaker speaks about the world which he is convinced to be real.

    Přìběh o svatoduńnìm zázraku ve Skutcìch apońtolů je východiskem pro pozorovánì a reflexi vztahu mezi vìnem a jazykem: veřìcì Ņidé podezřìvajì apońtoly mluvìcì v jazycìch (glosolálie), ņe vypili přìliń mnoho vìna. To dalo vzniknout různým frazeologismům. Kromě toho ukazujì různé překlady bible různorodost výrazů pro vìno v němčině. V německém jazyce představuje vìno v kognitivnìm pojetì blahobyt, úspěch a pohostinnost. The story of the Whitsun miracle in the Acts of the Apostles is the starting point for observations and reflections on the relation between wine and language: religious Jews suspect the apostles, speaking in tongues, of having drunk too much wine. This has resulted in various phraseologies. In addition, different translations of the Bible show a diversity of expressions for wine in German. All in all, in the German language wine stands for the cognitive concept of well-being, joy and conviviality.
