    Este artigo pretende apresentar algumas das ideias de Brecht sobre o cinema e a fotografia, elaboradas em obras literárias, ensaios e notas escritos ao longo de sua trajetória. A proposta aqui é oferecer ao leitor de português acesso a uma importante faceta do pensamento brechtiano, ainda pouco conhecida no Brasil: suas reflexões sobre a imagem técnica. This article aims to present some of Brecht's ideas on cinema and photography, elaborated in literary works, essays and notes written along his trajectory as author. The article intends to offer the Portuguese-language reader access to an important facet of Brechtian thought, still little known in Brazil: his reflections on the technical image.

    Wie der Medienwechsel vom Roman zum Film und die spezifische Medialität von Brief, Buch und Film reflektiert wird, möchte ich an zwei Verfilmungen von Johann Wolfgang Goethes monophonem Briefroman "Die Leiden des jungen Werthers" (1774/87) zeigen. Für Goethes "Werther" verzeichnet die Internet Movie Database 18 Verfilmungen, von denen viele historisierend sind und einige nicht direkt auf Goethes Roman, sondern auf Jules Massenets Oper basieren. Aus den vielen "Werther"-Verfilmungen habe ich zwei ausgesucht, die sich gut ergänzen und über Medialität reflektieren: Egon Günthers historisierende, in der DDR entstandene Verfilmung "Die Leiden des jungen Werthers" von 1976 und Uwe Jansons aktualisierende Adaption "Werther" (D 2008). "Die Leiden des jungen Werthers" ist Egon Günthers letzter Kinofilm in der DDR, der phantasievoll mit der Vorlage umgeht und Systemkritik übt. Mit Uwe Jansons "Werther" analysiere ich eine Verfilmung, die Werthers Geschichte vom 18. ins 21. Jahrhundert versetzt.

    The essay engages with a screenplay by Michel Foucault, written in 1970 for a film, not realized during Foucault's lifetime, about Pablo Picasso's "Las Meninas", a series of 58 paintings that the artist made in 1957, taking up, updating, reinterpreting the famous painting with the same title by Diego Velázquez (1656). This screenplay is at the same time an example of critical reflection on reenactment in art history and itself a reenactment practice of sorts: the filmic repetition of an artistic repetition. It invites a reflection on the role of repetition as a critical operation: how doubles, reenacted images, and 'countermimesis' can become creative gestures and opening movements of transformation through plays of refraction, duplication, and multiplication of the realities and subjectivities at stake in them.

    Eine Woche lang trafen sich Vertreter*innen des Cinema Spaces Network (CSN) im Berliner Humboldt Forum. Abend für Abend gab es eine Cine Lecture, in der nichtstaatliche Initiativen aus Burkina Faso, Kenia, DR Kongo, Sudan und Südafrika ihre Anstrengungen vorstellten, dem Kino in ihrem Land Raum und Publikum zu verschaffen; sie sind alle auf der Website des CSN archiviert. Im Anschluss an die Lectures wurde ein von den Aktivist*innen ausgesuchter Film gezeigt, wodurch eine Art Zufallspanorama des afrikanischen Kinos entstand. Durchgehend trat dabei die Spannung zwischen politischem Anspruch und den filmkünstlerischen Entscheidungen der hier vertretenen Regisseure zutage. Deutlich wurde bei all dem nicht zuletzt, dass die Realitäten, die unter dem Schlagwort 'Afrikanisches Kino' verhandelt werden, zwar extrem unterschiedlich sein können, aber alle Akteur*innen doch wie selbstverständlich daran festhalten.

    In the reactivation of the feminist collective of artists Le Nemesiache, this paper looks at the tension between rhetoric and translation in relation to the dislocation of archival materials from their situatedness in place (Naples) and time (1970 to the present). Translation emerges as the conveyor of the conditions from which the addresser started, as well as the ones of the addressees, as a potential that takes place in the moment of enunciation through a plurality of subjects. Considering the epistemological tension between history and fiction, as well as the mediation that happens through the body and the different subjectivities triggered by intra-action, this essay will engage with the following question: if the archive is the memory, can dramaturgy and reenactment from the archive become the message of a prophecy?
