    Drawing on the concept of "de/lirio"—which articulates a series of disorders in the first-person literary enunciation, on the one hand, and the psychopathological characterization of this first person, on the other hand—the study explores the "deviant lyric" of Mario Levrero and Alberto Laiseca, and shows how they respond productively to aesthetic, ethical and ontological problems of the turn of the millennium, in the Río de la Plata and beyond.

    Este trabajo pretende demostrar que en la obra narrativa del escritor Tomás Carrasquilla Naranjo (1858 - 1940) hay un Wahrheitsgehalt (Benjamin, 2012), la concreción temporal de una idea, que se materializa a través de lo que aquí he denominado imagen de la religiosidad popular. Esto quiere decir que la obra del antioqueño estaría construida a la manera de un gran mosaico, en el que pese a los variados y disparejos elementos que la componen, la unión de todos produce una imagen (Bild). En dicha imagen se representa la experiencia histórica de lo moderno en los sectores populares, a partir de la unión fugaz entre los rezagos de tradiciones vetustas y las formas de vida más novedosas. Lejos de las convenciones de su época, donde la pregunta por la experiencia de lo moderno redunda en los ámbitos metropolitanos y el papel del artista, Carrasquilla se pregunta por lo que ocurre en los extensos ámbitos rurales o liminares entre lo citadino y lo rural, y sus respectivos entrecruzamientos. Los sujetos que habitan estos ámbitos, al carecer de herramientas conceptuales que les permita definir esta nueva “experiencia viviente”, esa nueva Structures and Feeling como la denomina Raymond Williams (2019); apelan a lo único que conocen, los vetustos saberes transmitidos oralmente para explicar su ahora.     Die vorliegende Dissertation analysiert die Mentalitäten der bürgerlichen Bewohner Bogotas 19. Jahrhundert. Einblicke in die Fremd- und Eigenperspektiven der Bogotaner werden durch die Analyse von Reiseliteratur gewonnen. Methodologisch stützt sich die Arbeit auf den Vergleich zwischen europäischen Reiseberichten aus dem 19. Jh., Chroniken aus dem 16. Jh. sowie zwei kolumbianische Romane aus dem frühen 20.. Jh. Die Texte werden historiographisch behandelt; obwohl sie unterschiedlichen literarischen Genres angehören, weisen sie einen gemeinsamen autobiographischen Charakter auf. Aus den Erfahrungen und Gedanken der Reisenden werden v.a. die Auswirkungen der geographischen und sozialen Isolation thematisiert, sowie die Einflüsse von politischen und religiösen Diskursen auf die Bildung von bürgerlichem Gedankengut.

    Throughout all different socio-historical tensions undergone by the Latin American modernit(ies), the literary-historical production as well as the reflection on the topic - regional, national, supranational and/or continental – have been part of the critical and intellectual itinerary of very significant political and cultural projects, whose particular development allows the analysis of the socio-discursive dynamics fulfilled by the literary historiography in the search of a historical conscience and representation of the esthetic-literary processes.     Throughout all different socio-historical tensions undergone by the Latin American modernit(ies), the literary-historical production as well as the reflection on the topic - regional, national, supranational and/or continental – have been part of the critical and intellectual itinerary of very significant political and cultural projects, whose particular development allows the analysis of the socio-discursive dynamics fulfilled by the literary historiography in the search of a historical conscience and representation of the esthetic-literary processes. In present literary and cultural Central American literary studies, the academic thought on the development of the literary historiography has given place to some works whose main objects of study involve a significant corpus of national literature histories published mainly in the 20th century, between the forties and the eighties.     Die vorliegende Dissertation analysiert die Mentalitäten der bürgerlichen Bewohner Bogotas 19. Jahrhundert. Einblicke in die Fremd- und Eigenperspektiven der Bogotaner werden durch die Analyse von Reiseliteratur gewonnen. Methodologisch stützt sich die Arbeit auf den Vergleich zwischen europäischen Reiseberichten aus dem 19. Jh., Chroniken aus dem 16. Jh. sowie zwei kolumbianische Romane aus dem frühen 20.. Jh. Die Texte werden historiographisch behandelt; obwohl sie unterschiedlichen literarischen Genres angehören, weisen sie einen gemeinsamen autobiographischen Charakter auf. Aus den Erfahrungen und Gedanken der Reisenden werden v.a. die Auswirkungen der geographischen und sozialen Isolation thematisiert, sowie die Einflüsse von politischen und religiösen Diskursen auf die Bildung von bürgerlichem Gedankengut

    La última década ha visto un interés creciente en el fenómeno del narcotráfico en México a nivel global. Las diversas expresiones de violencia extrema que acompañan al negocio ilegal de drogas se narran en artefactos mediáticos que provocan fascinación e intriga. Así, la literatura y el cine, la música y la televisión presentan imágenes e historias sobre el narcotráfico que alimentan el imaginario colectivo. En este contexto, a nivel global hay representaciones mediáticas de la mujer mexicana narcotraficante que reproducen estereotipos femeninos donde la mujer se cosifica, exagerando los atributos sexuales del cuerpo de las mujeres. Esta representación cultural hace de la mujer un objeto de deseo, cuya belleza sirve como una marca de prestigio y ostentación para el hombre narcotraficante. La cultura del narcotráfico impone a las mujeres un ideal estético particular distintivo, que las mujeres reproducen meticulosamente para emular esta representación.     La siguiente investigación aborda la relación entre mito y modernidad en la obra literaria (poemas, cuentos, novelas y crónicas) del autor chileno Rosamel del Valle (Curacaví, 1901 – Santiago de Chile, 1965). En sus distintos textos existe una tensión entre un proyecto poético basado en una visión mítica del mundo y un contexto histórico que privilegia posturas más racionalistas, relegando lo poético y lo mítico. Ya en el siglo XIX la modernidad y los fenómenos asociados de la modernización producen el desplazamiento de la poesía como discurso y del poeta como persona a una situación deficitaria dentro de la sociedad, lo que se extiende en el siglo XX. Debido a este conflicto Rosamel del Valle cuestiona en su obra los alcances de sus propios postulados, tanto estéticos como vitales. Esto conlleva una vacilación entre la reafirmación de su proyecto poético-vital y la consciencia del fracaso.
