Canguilhem) ou de changement d'aspect (L. Wittgenstein), l'anomalie a une véritable fonction heuristique et quasi créatrice. Ainsi, pour commencer par un point d'appui ontologique, nous étudierons d'abord l'anomalie de l'ontologie dans le Timée (la khôra). Après quoi, de Platon en passant par Nicolas de Cues jusqu'à Derrida, nous étudierons l'anomalie d'un point de vue logique, épistémologique et phénoménologique de façon à forger un concept qui pourrait nous inciter à comprendre l'émergence, la transformation, la révolution et la réalité autrement One often confuses anomaly with what is abnormal. However, factor of reform, of scientific revolution (T.S Kuhn), synonymous with successful biological mutation (G. Canguilhem) or with gestalt switch (L. Wittgenstein), the anomaly has a true heuristic and quasi-creative function. So, to have an ontological starting point, we will first study the anomaly of ontology in the Timeus of Plato (the khôra). Afterwards, from Plato to Nicolas de Cues and Derrida, we will study anomaly from an epistemological, logical and phenomenological point of view, in order to forge a concept which would be able to make us understand emergence, transformation, revolution and reality otherwise

    A Byzance eikon désigne indistinctement toute forme de représentation et son usage, relève de multiples régimes, conceptuels aussi bien que pratiques. Nous partons des premiers discours apologétiques issus de la crise iconoclaste pour chercher en aval, dans la littérature antérieure, la théorie byzantine de l'image, entendant par là un système conséquent de pensée qui rend compte de la justification, la constitution et la perception de la représentation plastique, ainsi que des types de discours qu'elle génère. Cette théorie est « ambiantale », formulée à travers des spéculations relevant de contextes multiples, de la dogmatique jusqu'à l'hagiographie; leur juxtaposition donne à voir ce qu'est l'art plastique pour les Byzantins, à travers leurs interprétations du processus qui transforme un objet matériel en image d'art et leurs réactions vis-à-vis de ce dernier. Tenant compte de l'héritage conceptuel antique aussi bien que des usages contemporains, procédant par ajustements, voire même par contradictions, les agents de cette théorie instaurent une appréhension originale de l'image. Leurs positionnements, quoique fragmentaires, révèlent une ampleur de thèmes, étayée par les principes chrétiens fonciers: unI cosmologie résultant de l'agnosie de Dieu et de la scission vétricale du cosmos entre créé et incréé, ainsi que le concept existenciel de l'hypostase. L'homologation de la forme est absente et l'accent est mis sur la gestion du contenu, compris comme une mutation de la mimésis : l'image plastique n'est pas un dédoublement apparent, mais participe effectivement à l'étant du représenté. Elle permet alors de passer de la théoria à la praxis et servir la volonté des Byzantins de faire de la connaissance (visuelle ou autre) une expérience. Ce qui confirme la thèse de Belting sur la promotion de l'image-présence vis-à-vis de l'image-esthétique, à tous les niveaux, ontologique, formel, psychologique ou fonctionnel. Ce constat ne signifie pas pour autant une absence d'esthétique; celle-ci se fonde désormais sur des propriétés autres que la forme, qui ne sont point esthétiques au départ, mais qui finissent par le devenir In Byzantium eikon refers indiscriminately to all forms of representation and its use is a matter for multiple regimes, both conceptual and practical. The thesis starts from the first apologetic discourses produced by the iconoclast crisis and looks downstream, in the earlier literature, the Byzantine theory of the image, understood as a consequent system of thought that gives an account of the rationale, the constitution and the perception of plastic representation, and the types of discourse it generates. This theory is "ambiental", formulated through speculation within multiple contexts, from the dogmatic to hagiography; their juxtaposition allows us to see what the Byzantines' Idea of plastic arts is, through their interpretations of the process which transforms a physical object in an art image and their responses vis-à-vis the latter. Taking into account the antique conceptual heritage as well as the contemporary usage, proceeding by adjustment s, or even contradictions, the agents of this theory establish an original understanding of the image. Their positions, though fragmentary, reveal a breadth of subjects, supported by the fundamental Christian principles: a cosmology resulting from God's agnosia and the vertical split of the cosmos in created and uncreated, and the existential concept of hypostasis. The ratification of the form is absent and the focus is on content management, understood as a mutation of mimesis: the plastic image is not an apparent duplication, but participates actually in the being of the subject which is represented. It allows thus the passage from Theoria to Praxis and serves the will of the Byzantines to produce an experience from knowledge (visual or other). This confirms the thesis of Belting on the promotion of the image as presence vis-à-vis the image as aesthetic, at all levels, ontological, formal, functional or psychological. This ascertainment does not mean a lack of aesthetics; the later is now based on properties other than form, which probably are not aesthetic in the beginning, but they eventually become so
