    Die türkischen Schriftstellerinnen Halide Nusret Zorlutuna, Ismet Kür und Sevim Belli haben in ihren Autobiographien überwiegend ihre Jugendjahre ausführlich niedergeschrieben. Der Anlass ihres Schreibens ist zwar der gleiche, doch der Gegenstand ist unterschiedlich: Es geht bei der ersten um das Nachtrauern eines abgeschafften politischen Systems (das Osmanische Reich) und bei der zweiten um die Trauer, die eigenen Fähigkeiten nicht genügend entwickelt zu haben. Die dritte bedauert, keine angemessene Auswirkung der geleisteten politischen Arbeit (sozialistische Gedanken in der Türkei) erreicht zu haben. Sie wollen also mit ihren Werken zur Gedächtnisbildung der jungen Generationen beitragen. ; In their autobiographies, Halide Nusret Zorlutuna, İsmet Kür, and Sevim Belli recounted mostly their youth. The reason these three authors wrote their memories is the same, yet the topics show differences: While one of the writers mourns for a political system of the past; the other feels sorrow for wasting her talents in the communal role of the mother, and the third writer regrets that the political endeavours that he laboured for did not become influential enough. Through their memories, these writers aim to contribute to development of the social awareness of the newer generations.

    Çocuklara yönelik fantastik yazın çevirisi alanında yaptığımız bu çalışmada "The wonderful wizard of Oz" adlı yapıttan yola çıkarak, Türkçe'ye dört farklı çevirisi karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmamız, çevirmenleri ve yayınevleri farklı olan fantastik çocuk kitabı çevirilerinde uyarlama yapılıp yapılmadığını belirlemeyi amaçlamıştır. Bu incelemenin ayrıca amacı fantastik çocuk kitapları çevirisinde uyarlamanın tek bir yöntem olarak kullanılmasının olumsuz yönüne dikkat çekmek, aynı zamanda da kitapların biçimsel ve içeriksel olarak iyileştirilmesine katkıda bulunmaktır. Çalışma neticesinde elde edilen verilerden sonuçlar çıkarılarak genel bir değerlendirme yapılmış ve çeşitli öneriler sunulmuştur. ; In this research, we handled four different translations of the children's book "The wonderful wizard of Oz" and carried out a comparative examination. Our purpose is to determine whether or not a good adaptation exists in these four books translated by different translators and published in different publishing houses. The other aim of this research is to draw attention to the negative aspects of adaptation when used as an overall translation strategy and to contribute to the improvement of the content and form of the books at the same time. Furthermore, we think that our thesis may be helpful in realization of the significance of specialization in translating children's books. In the final stage an overall assessment was made by subtracting meaningful results from the data obtained and various suggestions were presented.

"Misafir işçi" göçünün başlamasıyla bir "göçmen işçi" edebiyatının çıkması da rastlantı değildir. Göçmen işçi edebiyatı (Gastarbeiterliteratur) teriminin kullanılmamasının nedeni negatif bir anlam taşımasıdır. Bunun yerine daha naif ve yanlış anlamlara neden olmayacak bir terim olan göçmen edebiyatı (Migrantenliteratur) tercih edilmiştir. ...
