    El presente trabajo pretende comprender cómo se produjo la omisión de los afrobrasileños en el Movimento Antropofágico, que surgió con la propuesta de crear una identidad nacional. Esta manifestación vanguardista concebida por la élite cultural dominante de São Paulo se apropió de la esencia del ritual antropofágico realizado en las ceremonias de las tribus indígenas brasileñas. Mientras que el acto de comer la carne de un guerrero enemigo se realizaba para adquirir sus habilidades, el Movimiento Antropofágico, en lugar de comer carne, era la cultura extranjera, en el caso europea, para ser deglutida y transformada en cultura nacional.
    Este estudio se basó en el análisis del Manifesto Antropofágico publicado en la primera Revista de Antropofagia y en los textos publicados en ediciones posteriores entre mayo de 1928 y febrero de 1929. A partir de una lectura poscolonial utilizamos los conceptos de alienación, hibridación, estereotipos, cultura fronteriza y sociología de las ausencias teorizada por autores como Frantz Fanon, Homi Bhabha y Boaventura de Sousa Santos.     Diese Arbeit zielt darauf ab zu verstehen, wie es zur „Auslassung“ (engl. omission) des Afro-Brasilianischen durch den Movimento Antropofágico bei seinem Vorschlag zur Schaffung einer neuen nationalen Identität kommen konnte. Diese avantgardistische Bewegung, die von der dominanten kulturellen Elite São Paulos konzipiert wurde, eignete sich die Essenz des anthropophagischen Rituals an, das in Zeremonien der brasilianischen indigenen Stämme durchgeführt worden war. Während der Akt des Verzehrs des Fleisches eines feindlichen Kriegers dazu diente dessen Fähigkeiten zu erlangen, war es für den Movimento Antropofágico, die fremde Kultur, in diesem Fall die europäische, die verschluckt und in eine nationale Kultur umgewandelt werden sollte.
    Diese Studie basiert auf der Analyse des Manifesto Antropofágico, das in der ersten Revista de Antropofagia veröffentlicht wurde, und der Texte, die in den folgenden Ausgaben zwischen Mai 1928 und Februar 1929 erschienen. Aus einer postkolonialen Lesart heraus haben wir die Konzepte der Entfremdung, der Hybridität, der Stereotypen, der border culture und der Soziologie der Abwesenheit (sociology of absences) angewandt, die von Autoren wie Frantz Fanon, Homi Bhabha und Boaventura de Sousa Santos theoretisiert worden sind.     This work aims to understand how the omission of Afro-Brazilians from the Anthropophagic Movement came about with the proposal to create a national identity. This vanguardist manifestation conceived by the dominant cultural elite of São Paulo appropriated the essence of the anthropophagic ritual performed in ceremonies of Brazilian indigenous tribes. While the act of eating the flesh of an enemy warrior was performed to acquire his abilities, the Anthropophagic Movement, instead of eating meat, was the foreign culture, in this case the European, to be swallowed and transformed into national culture.
    This study was based on the analysis of the Anthropophagic Manifesto published in the first Revista de Antropofagia and in the texts published in subsequent editions between May 1928 and February 1929. From a post-colonial reading we used the concepts of alienation, hybridity, stereotypes, border culture and the sociology of absences theorized by authors such as Frantz Fanon, Homi Bhabha and Boaventura de Sousa Santos. It is hoped that this work will contribute to questioning the importance of the role of Afro-Brazilians in national culture
