    Zusammenfassung: El objeto de esta tesis doctoral es la literatura de principios del siglo XX en Espana y Alemania, concretamente la literatura de las vanguardias. En este trabajo se explora el papel de los medios en la nueva definicion de la discursividad y el medio literario, el desarrollo de un nuevo discurso Y nuevas formas poeticas y la estagnación del proyecto vanguardia hacia una literatura realista.Para tratar estas cuestiones el trabajo aborda la obra de dos autores de dicha epoca cuya obra literaria se encuentra marcada por la influencia de la pintura, el cine y la música. Carl Einstein m(1885-1940) y Cesar Arconada (1898-1964) son dos claros ejemplos de un cambio de paradigma radical en la literatura que marca la literatura del protoexpresionismo y expresionismo aleman y las corrientes espanolas del ultraismo, el creacionismo y posteriormente el surrealismo.El analisis del "Bebuquin oder die Dilettanten des Wunders" de Carl Einstein y de las "novelas cinematograficas" de Arconada busca los fundamentos ideologicos y formales de esta nueva literatura, que se apoya en las nuevas formas de percepción y expresion del cubismo y el cine para reescribirse. Conceptos como el movimiento, la alucinacion, la luz, la visualidad, la subjetividad y la pureza de las formas juegan un papel determinante en estas novelas, cuyos personajes se encuentran profundamente ligados al mundo de las artes y por ende aparecen como seres irreales entre mundos de percepcion distintos.Centrándose en el estudio de una forma de escritura polimórfica y sinestetica, este trabajo ayuda a entender los fundamentos de la vanguardia y una epoca capital de la literatura en un momento de ruptura absoluta con la tradicion. La obra de los dos autores mencionados, aunque singular y particular, sirve a su vez de ejemplo de esta nueva voluntad estética Zusammenfassung: My thesis is concerned with German and Spanish Avant-garde literature at the beginning of the 20th century. My main concern is the role of the visual media with regard to the new definition of discoursivity and literature in the corpus; I analyze the evolution of a new poetic discourse with new poetic forms and how the stagnation of the Avant-garde on the way towards realistic literature was overcome. My thesis focuses on two Avant-garde authors whose writings have been influenced heavily by graphic arts, by cinema, and music. Carl Einstein (1885 – 1940) and Cesar Arconada (1898 – 1964) are two examples of a radical change of paradigm in literature, which defines early expressionism and expressionism in Germany as well as the Ultraismo, Creacionismo and later the Surrealismo in Spain. The analysis of Carl Einstein‘s "Bebuquin oder die Dilettanten des Wunders" and Cesar Arconada‘s "novelas cinematograficas" pursues the ideological and formal foundations of an innovative literature based on new cinematographic forms of perception and expression. Concepts like motion, light, visualization, subjectivity, and purity of forms are of great importance to these works, whose figures cannot be distinguished from the world of art and media surrounding them. By exploring this polymorphic and synaesthetic pieces of art my thesis contributes to an intensified understanding of the Avant-garde movement and its importance for the literature of its time. The works of both authors, although genuine and unique, are significant witnesses to the era and its intellectual complexity

    This history of Ladin literature provides for the first time a comprehensive overview of 230 Dolomite-Ladin authors from the beginnings of Ladin literature (17th century) up to contemporary Ladin writing (2012). Each article on the authors contains a detailed biography, a complete catalog of works and a review of the oeuvre based on a representative sample of original texts, also translated into German. This new standard reference of Rhaeto-Romance Studies is completed by introductory chapters on the beginnings and the development of Ladin literature, its genres and themes, the history of research, the presence of Ladin literature in the Ladin-speaking media, the presence of Ladinia in German and Italian literature as well as a name index with as many as 3,000 entries.

    The first volume of the series “Scripta Ladina Brixinensia” edited by Paul Videsott is dedicated to the Ladin language in the educational system – compulsory schools, secondary schools, universities/colleges – in the regions of Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli as well as in the Canton of Grisons. The focus is on the Ladin department, a unique feature of the Free University of Bolzano, aiming at the documentation, description and the development of the Ladin language. The final contribution presents the volume Sprachen im Vergleich: Deutsch-Ladinisch-Italienisch which is designed as a teaching aid for multilingual language teaching in Ladin schools.

    Dieses erste Wörterbuch der Sprache Mambay vervollständigt das Werk „A grammar of Mambay – An Adamawa Language of Chad and Cameroon“, das im Jahr 2011 vom selben Autor in unserem Programm erschienen ist (ISBN 978-3-89645-425-6). Es basiert auf einem Jahrzehnt gemeinsamer Arbeit, die von zahlreichen Mitarbeitern unter der Schirmherrschaft des Comité de Développement de la Langue Mambay (COLAMA) und des SIL International durchgeführt wurde. Das Mambay gehört zu den Adamawa-Sprachen (Niger-Kongo-Sprachfamilie) und wird von ungefähr 15.000 Menschen gesprochen. Das Sprachgebiet verläuft an den Ufern des Kebbi-Flusses im Norden Kameruns bis in den Südwesten des Tschads. Dieses Wörterbuch umfasst mehr als 3.400 Einträge, die mit französischen Definitionen versehen sind. Überdies enthält es einen Französisch-Mambay-Index mit etwa 4.000 Begriffen. Dem Wörterbuch wurden unter anderem ein grammatikalischer Überblick sowie ein Kapitel zur Orthographie hinzugefügt, wobei hier die Vorteile einer Standardisierung aufgezeigt werden, die seit längerem von Mitgliedern des COLAMA-Komitees vorgenommen wird. Darüber hinaus findet die Leserschaft einen wissenschaftlichen Index, der die Identifizierung vieler Pflanzen und zahlreicher Fischarten ermöglicht. Im Anhang bietet das Werk eine Auswahl an verschiedenen Mambay-Texten, ein kleines Inventar an kulturellen Themen, Darstellungen des Mambay-Landes sowie eine illustrierte Anlauttabelle.Insgesamt ist das Buch bei weitem mehr als ein nur ein Wörterbuch zum Mambay, es stellt einen bedeutenden Beitrag zur Dokumentation des sprachlichen und kulturellen Erbes der Mambay-Sprechenden dar.
