    Diese Dissertation besteht aus drei Beiträgen zur Immobilien-Ökonomie und Immobilien-Finanzwirtschaft mit einem Fokus auf die räumliche Struktur und den Landmarkt. Im ersten Beitrag werden fünf lineare hedonische Modell auf den Mietwohnungsmarkt angewendet. Die fünf Modelle unterscheiden sich ausschliesslich in der Spezifikation der räumlichen und zeitlichen Struktur. Zur Evaluation der Prognosegüte verwenden wir insbesondere auch 1-tages Prognosen mit einem rollenden Zeitfenster. Das bedeutet, es werden nur Informationen verwendet, welche zum Zeitpunkt der Prognose auch tatsächlich vorliegen. Die Prognosegüte steigt durch die Berücksichtigung von räumlicher und zeitlicher Heterogenität stark an, insbesondere im STAR-Modell. Im zweiten Beitrag werden Bodenpreise mittels Mietpreisen von Wohnungen geschätzt. Dies setzt ein Modell voraus, das den Zusammenhang zwischen diesen Grössen erfasst. Wir zeigen theoretisch und empirisch, welche Rolle der Regulierung der Bodennutzung, insbesondere der Ausnützungsziffer (AZ), bei der Ermittlung der Bodenpreise zukommt. Die Analyse zeigt, dass sich Bodenpreis letztlich aus einer Kombination von der Attraktivität der Lage und der AZ bestimmt. Die daraus gewonnene Erkenntnis kann auch zur Bewertung von Boden in städtischen Gebieten - mit wenig Landtransaktionen - angewendet werden. Im dritten Beitrag werden die fundamentalen ökonomischen Faktoren von Wohnlandpreisen analysiert. Aufgrund eines einfachen Modells ist ein direkter Zusammenhang von Landpreisen zu Einkommen, Anzahl Haushalte sowie der Wohnlandfläche zu erwarten. Es wird getestet, ob dieser Zusammenhang besteht und welcher mikroökonomische Prozess den Zusammenhang am besten erklärt. Weiter wird in einer Panel-Kointegrationsanalyse getestet, ob der Zusammenhang zeitlich konstant bleibt.

    Die Idee der Metropolregionen basiert auf der Erwartung, dass eine verbesserte Vernetzung innerhalb einer Region entweder dazu beitragen kann, dass mobile Faktoren sich an einem Ort oder an mehreren Orten stärker als zuvor konzentrieren, oder dass durch die intraregionale Vernetzung Ballungsvorteile "simuliert werden", die vermutlich in den deutschen Großstädten geringer ausgeprägt sind als in zahlreichen "primate cities" im Ausland. Entsprechende Vorteile sind gerade für Städte und Regionen mit wirtschaftlichem Aufholbedarf - wie in Mitteldeutschland - von besonderer Relevanz. Vor diesem Hintergrund und in Anbetracht der für Mitteldeutschland typischen, sehr ausgeprägten polyzentrischen Raumstruktur beschäftigt sich dieser Band aus unterschiedlichen Blickwinkeln mit der Entwicklung und den Chancen der "Metropolregion Mitteldeutschland". Im Fokus stehen insbesondere institutionelle und Governance-Aspekte sowie die Frage nach der Übereinstimmung zwischen dem aktuellen räumlichen Zuschnitt der Metropolregion und den funktionalen Raumbeziehungen in Mitteldeutschland. The formation of Metropolitan Regions has in general the goal to support the creation of agglomeration economies by improving the systems of networks between local units, private firms, research institutes and other relevant "regional players" within a certain area. Such a support is especially needed for local units which are economically lagging behind, as it is still the case in Central Germany (= the states of Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Thuringia). Against this background and in view of the very pronounced polycentric spatial structure typical of Central Germany, this volume deals with the development and opportunities of the "Metropolitan Region of Central Germany" from different perspectives. The focus is in particular on institutional and governance aspects as well as the question of the correspondence between the current spatial layout of the metropolitan region and the functional spatial relationships in central Germany.

    Der vorliegende Band vereint Beiträge der internationalen Tagung „Räume und Medien in der Romania – Spatii si medii în culturile romanice – Espaces et médias dans les cultures romanes“, die vom 27. bis 30. September 2015 vom Lektorat Rumänisch des Instituts für Romanistik der Universität Leipzig in Kooperation mit dem Institutul Limbii Române Bukarest durchgeführt wurde. Die Konzipierung von Räumen und Raumstrukturen und deren Mediatisierung, die mediale Bedingtheit von Räumen und ihrer Wahrnehmung bilden das gemeinsame Bindeglied der inhaltlich weit gefächerten Beiträge, die Gegenstände der lateinischen, französischen, rumänischen, italienischen und lateinamerikanischen Literatur, aber auch Fotografie, Malerei, Theater, Film sowie digitale Medien behandeln. Einen Schwerpunkt bilden Arbeiten zur rumänischen Literatur und Kultur, begonnen mit Raumkonzepten in der älteren Literatur, über den (sub-)urbanen Raum bei Isac Peltz, die „verfluchten Räume“ eines Max Blecher, Vintila Horias und Oana Orleas „imaginäre Heimatländer“ bis hin zu „Orten und Nichtorten” in der rumänischen Neuen Welle.

    "This timely book explores how space emerges as people attempt to organize and reorganize their everyday activities. From the workplace to the internet, geographical districts to international development projects, it offers new insights on how created spaces enable further activities as the organizing process evolves. From a poststructuralist perspective, expert contributors look at the importance of agencing for understanding organizing within and among multifarious spaces, which in turn provides a means of explaining how organizing unfolds through combinations of spatio-material and agential practices. Extending this research by highlighting the agential dynamics of organizing in relation to space, this book unpacks the concept of agencing, before considering how relational approaches to space have influenced the idea of spatial agencing. Connecting the work of Michel Callon and Franck Cochoy, Space and Organizing joins a forward-thinking and ever-expanding body of research.
