    Die Studie schließt eine Lücke im Diskurs über Erinnerung. Im interdisziplinären Gespräch von psychoanalytischen, soziologischen und kulturwissenschaftlichen Ansätzen (Freud, Mead, Halbwachs, Durkheim, Assmann) werden weiterführende Einsichten über Erinnerung als intersubjektive Praxis gewonnen. Spur, Umschrift und Nachträglichkeit stellen die zentralen Konzepte der Erinnerungstheorie Sigmund Freuds dar. Als leibliche Einschreibungen des Erlebens verbindet das Konzept der Erinnerungsspur die drei grundlegenden Dimensionen der Psychoanalyse: das Somatische, das Soziale und das Unbewusste. Die konstitutive Bedeutung von Erinnerung für das Verständnis von Zeitlichkeit und Subjektivität erschließt sich aus einer erneuten Lektüre der Freudschen Verführungstheorie im Anschluss an Jean Laplanche. Damit lenkt diese Arbeit die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Spuren und Umschriften unbewusster vergangener Erfahrungen in individuellen und gesellschaftlichen Erinnerungsprozessen

In dem Buch werden nach einer Einführung über den Beitrag der IM zur Sicherung des politischen Systems der DDR 20 psychoanalytisch orientierte Interviews zusammenfassend dargestellt. Im Anschluß an die anonymisierte Einzelfallbeschreibung erfolgt eine Gesamtbeurteilung der untersuchten Probanden. Die Auswertung der Interviews erfolgte in einem Expertenrating mit fünf Psychoanalytikern. Die Erzählungen der Interviewten sind durch ihre nachträgliche Verarbeitung der konspirativen Tätigkeit keine Darstellung der historischen Fakten. Sie sind vielmehr in der gegenwärtigen Lebenssituation konstruierte Geschichten, die u.a. auch dazu dienen, sich zu rechtfertigen. Deshalb werden in einem weiteren Kapitel für einige Probanden vergleichend Akten herangezogen. Die unterschiedlichen Wahrnehmungen von Stasi und IM stehen so einander gegenüber

    Die Studie schließt eine Lücke im Diskurs über Erinnerung. Im interdisziplinären Gespräch von psychoanalytischen, soziologischen und kulturwissenschaftlichen Ansätzen (Freud, Mead, Halbwachs, Durkheim, Assmann) werden weiterführende Einsichten über Erinnerung als intersubjektive Praxis gewonnen. Spur, Umschrift und Nachträglichkeit stellen die zentralen Konzepte der Erinnerungstheorie Sigmund Freuds dar. Als leibliche Einschreibungen des Erlebens verbindet das Konzept der Erinnerungsspur die drei grundlegenden Dimensionen der Psychoanalyse: das Somatische, das Soziale und das Unbewusste. Die konstitutive Bedeutung von Erinnerung für das Verständnis von Zeitlichkeit und Subjektivität erschließt sich aus einer erneuten Lektüre der Freudschen Verführungstheorie im Anschluss an Jean Laplanche. Damit lenkt diese Arbeit die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Spuren und Umschriften unbewusster vergangener Erfahrungen in individuellen und gesellschaftlichen Erinnerungsprozessen

    Allenthalben wird eine schwere Krise der Psychoanalyse konstatiert. Eine verbreitete Reaktion auf diese Krise besteht in der Forderung, man solle sich von der Freudschen Theorie, insbesondere von der Metapsychologie verabschieden und sich moderneren Wissenschaften und Forschungsparadigmen zuwenden. Dagegen wendet sich Wolfgang Hegener. Er votiert im Anschluß an Derrida für eine Neulektüre der Werke Freuds, die an einem vernachlässigten Aspekt ansetzt, an der Schriftproblematik. Sie durchzieht nicht nur auf eine versteckte Weise die strukturtheoretischen und behandlungstheoretischen Schriften, sondern macht auch eine Neuinterpretation des Triebbegriffes möglich. Jenseits der gängigen Diskussionen um den wissenschaftstheoretischen Status der Psychoanalyse, die entweder als eine positivistische Tatsachenwissenschaft verstanden oder dem hermeneutischen Sinn-verstehen zugeordnet wird, tut sich nun eine dritte Möglichkeit auf: Freud erscheint gleichsam als ein "Semiologe der Seele", der die Form des Psychischen mit Hilfe komplizierter Aufschreibesysteme (Photographie, Wunderblock) zu fassen versucht und den Inhalt des Psychischen als einen besonderen, wesentlich unbewußten Text begreift, der diskontinuierlich umgeschrieben wird. Die Orientierung am Schriftgedanken läßt schließlich ein neues Verstehen der Entstehung der Psychoanalyse zu. Sie verdankt sich einem "semiotischen Bruch", der im 19. Jahrhundert eine detektivische und spurensichernde Methode hervorbringt und an die Stelle der Idee das Zeichen sowie an die Stelle des Buches und seines Modells von Linearität und Geschlossenheit der Schrift die zeitgenössischen Aufschreibsysteme (Photographie, Telegraphie) setzt, die einer anderen, "unbewußten Logik" folgen.
