    Das Sammeln und Exzerpieren von Büchern zur Herstellung neuer Bücher wird hier mit der Einrichtung von Wunderkammern und Naturalienkabinetten in Verbindung gebracht. Virtuosi nannten sich – entgegen der heutigen Bedeutung des Worts – die Realiensammler und Philosophen aus dem Umkreis der Royal Society. Ihnen werden die Zettelpoeten gegenüber gestellt, die als poetae docti zunächst großes Ansehen besaßen, bevor sie ihr Renommee an die Vertreter der Genieästhetik abgeben mussten. Während die res-Sammlungen im Laufe des 18. Jahrhunderts ihre Bedeutung als Organe wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnis verloren und nur noch in Spezialsammlungen, etwa als Kunstmuseen, überlebten, erlangten die verba-Sammlungen in der Poesie, vor allem in Zeiten der Moderne, einen neuen Stellenwert bei der Genese literarischer Texte. Das Buch handelt vom Sammeln und ist selber als Sammlung angelegt. Zu den Zettelpoeten, die genauer untersucht werden, gehören Jeremias Drexel, Jean Paul, Ernst Bloch, Walter Benjamin, Ludwig Hohl, Arno Schmidt und Rainald Goetz. Die Autoren: Ulrich Stadler ist emeritierter Professor für Neuere deutsche Literatur an der Universität Zürich. Bei Königshausen & Neumann erschien 2003 sein kulturhistorisches Museum „Der technisierte Blick. Optische Instrumente und der Status von Literatur“. Magnus Wieland ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Schweizerischen Literaturarchiv in Bern; seine Dissertation ist unlängst unter dem Titel „Vexierzüge. Jean Pauls Digressionspoetik“ publiziert worden. „'Zettelpoeten' wie Walter Benjamin oder Rainald Goetz können Gelehrte oder Räuber sein. Warum, erzählt das Buch „Gesammelte Welten“...     Das Sammeln und Exzerpieren von Büchern zur Herstellung neuer Bücher wird hier mit der Einrichtung von Wunderkammern und Naturalienkabinetten in Verbindung gebracht. Virtuosi nannten sich – entgegen der heutigen Bedeutung des Worts – die Realiensammler und Philosophen aus dem Umkreis der Royal Society. Ihnen werden die Zettelpoeten gegenüber gestellt, die als poetae docti zunächst großes Ansehen besaßen, bevor sie ihr Renommee an die Vertreter der Genieästhetik abgeben mussten. Während die res-Sammlungen im Laufe des 18. Jahrhunderts ihre Bedeutung als Organe wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnis verloren und nur noch in Spezialsammlungen, etwa als Kunstmuseen, überlebten, erlangten die verba-Sammlungen in der Poesie, vor allem in Zeiten der Moderne, einen neuen Stellenwert bei der Genese literarischer Texte. Das Buch handelt vom Sammeln und ist selber als Sammlung angelegt. Zu den Zettelpoeten, die genauer untersucht werden, gehören Jeremias Drexel, Jean Paul, Ernst Bloch, Walter Benjamin, Ludwig Hohl, Arno Schmidt und Rainald Goetz. Die Autoren: Ulrich Stadler ist emeritierter Professor für Neuere deutsche Literatur an der Universität Zürich. Bei Königshausen & Neumann erschien 2003 sein kulturhistorisches Museum „Der technisierte Blick. Optische Instrumente und der Status von Literatur“. Magnus Wieland ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Schweizerischen Literaturarchiv in Bern; seine Dissertation ist unlängst unter dem Titel „Vexierzüge. Jean Pauls Digressionspoetik“ publiziert worden. „'Zettelpoeten' wie Walter Benjamin oder Rainald Goetz können Gelehrte oder Räuber sein. Warum, erzählt das Buch „Gesammelte Welten“...
