    Die Vierzig Hadithe sind für die Glaubens- und Lebenspraxis der Muslime vom 9. Jahrhundert an bis heute von großer Bedeutung, wurden wissenschaftlich bislang jedoch kaum beachtet. Für eine überschaubare Sammlung ausgewählter Prophetenüberlieferungen gestaltet sich der Inhalt der Vierzig Hadithe äußerst vielfältig und reicht von Kindeserziehung und religionspraktischen Aspekten bis hin zum Dschihad.In Teilband 1 wird dieses Themengebiet auf Basis der Erhebung von gut neunhundert Sammlungen völlig neu erschlossen. In Teilband 2 erfolgt die Aufarbeitung von Gedankengut und Ideologie des Dschihad auf der Grundlage prophetischer Überlieferungen aus der Zeit der Kreuzzüge bis zur Gegenwart. Eine Übersetzung der Originaltexte macht dabei das einschlägige Hadith-Material auch für Interessierte außerhalb der Islamwissenschaften nutzbar.

    Die Vierzig Hadithe sind für die Glaubens- und Lebenspraxis der Muslime vom 9. Jahrhundert an bis heute von großer Bedeutung, wurden wissenschaftlich bislang jedoch kaum beachtet. Für eine überschaubare Sammlung ausgewählter Prophetenüberlieferungen gestaltet sich der Inhalt der Vierzig Hadithe äußerst vielfältig und reicht von Kindeserziehung und religionspraktischen Aspekten bis hin zum Dschihad.In Teilband 1 wird dieses Themengebiet auf Basis der Erhebung von gut neunhundert Sammlungen völlig neu erschlossen. In Teilband 2 erfolgt die Aufarbeitung von Gedankengut und Ideologie des Dschihad auf der Grundlage prophetischer Überlieferungen aus der Zeit der Kreuzzüge bis zur Gegenwart. Eine Übersetzung der Originaltexte macht dabei das einschlägige Hadith-Material auch für Interessierte außerhalb der Islamwissenschaften nutzbar.
