    Der Nationalsozialismus hat einen beispiellosen Bilderapparat hervorgebracht, der durch seine vielfachen medialen Wiederbelebungen in der visuellen Kultur der Gegenwart allgegenwärtig ist. Die unleugbare negative Faszination, die von faschistoider Ästhetik ausgeht, wird in Anbetracht der Persistenz nazistischer Ikonografie, wie sie uns in Musikvideos, Filmen oder im Internet begegnet, überdeutlich. Der Nationalsozialismus ist nicht mehr nur historische Tatsache, er ist eine Bilder-Erzählung.Entlang ausgewählter Fallbeispiele der Popkultur zeigt Jelena Jazo, wie sich der Widerhall des nazistischen Bildprogramms im Kontext der Gegenwart verstehen lässt und welche Bedeutung er für die heutige Kultur und den Umgang mit der Vergangenheit hat National Socialism produced an unparalleled repertoire of images which reappear in its multiple media revivals in the visual culture of the present. Considering the persistence of Nazi iconography in music videos, films, or on the internet, the undeniable negative fascination with fascist aesthetics is blatantly obvious. National Socialism is no longer just a historical fact, but rather a visual narrative. Unmittelbar nach der deutschen Kapitulation mehren sich die Gerüchte über die subversiven Aktionen untergetauchter Nazis. Trotz der raschen politischen und wirtschaftlichen Stabilisierung Deutschlands, ist die Furcht vor der Reinkarnation des Nationalsozialismus spürbar. Dieser Mythos eines Vierten Reiches begleitet die Entwicklung der westlichen Welt seit der Nachkriegszeit und wird auch im 21. Jahrhundert in der politischen Polemik rezipiert: "III. Reich tanks - fourth Reich banks!" Eine systematische ideengeschichtliche Aufarbeitung dieser Politik und Kultur prägenden Dystopie ist daher längst überfällig. Gavriel D.     This 1999 book examines the way in which the Romantic period's culture of posterity inaugurates a tradition of writing which demands that the poet should write for an audience of the future: the true poet, a figure of neglected genius, can be properly appreciated only after death. Andrew Bennett argues that this involves a radical shift in the conceptualization of the poet and poetic reception, with wide-ranging implications for the poetry and poetics of the Romantic period. He surveys the contexts for this transformation of the relationship between poet and audience, engaging with issues such as the commercialization of poetry, the gendering of the canon, and the construction of poetic identity. Bennett goes on to discuss the strangely compelling effects which this reception theory produces in the work of Wordsworth, Coleridge, Keats, Shelley and Byron, who have come to embody, for posterity, the figure of the Romantic poet
