    Die Studie untersucht, wie die lineare Kette sprachlicher Zeichen in Deskriptionssequenzen englischer Texte vor dem ,inneren Auge' des Rezipienten einen Vorstellungsraum konstituiert. Sie verbindet damit in neuartiger Weise Kategorien der Textlinguistik mit Ansätzen der Semantik und der Kognitiven Grammatik. Zudem werden Ergebnisse relevanter Nachbardisziplinen wie der Literatur- und Kunstwissenschaft sowie der Wahrnehmungs- und Gestaltpsychologie einbezogen. Auf der Basis eines Korpus von Textsorten mit hohen deskriptiven Anteilen, wie etwa Reiseführern oder geographischen Sachtexten, wird eine Taxonomie von prototypischen ,Blickführungstypen' erarbeitet und anhand von zahlreichen exemplarischen Analysen sowie graphischen Darstellungen veranschaulicht. Diese Blickführungstypen werden als spezifische Linearisierungsstrategien definiert, die auf bildschematischen Konfigurationen aus Trajektor und Landmarke beruhen. In diesem Kontext wird analysiert, inwiefern Lokalisierungsausdrücke sowohl durch grammatische und lexikalische Kohäsion wie auch durch ortsdeiktische Situierungen zur Raumkonstitution beitragen. Von besonderem Interesse sind hierbei die textuellen Effekte und Funktionen, die aus der Blickführung resultieren

    Recent papers show that the impact of Cohesion Policy is not uniform in space but larger, smaller or insignificant depending on the regions. These outcomes mostly depend on the characteristics of each territory (conditioning factors). This paper reviews them and investigates, through descriptive statistical techniques, their presence in European regions. European regions are then classified in terms of need on two dimensions: GDP per capita and GDP growth. Results show that most policy favourable conditioning factors are also factors of growth. As a consequence of that, the potential policy impact is often larger in those regions which are less in need of support. In terms of policy consequence, cohesion policy should remain place‐based and fully consider the regional specificities, as well the specificities of the various territories inside a region. However, since the conditioning factors for policy effectiveness are less present in regions more in need, acceptting trade‐offs will be required, and in particular one between growth and policy effectiveness on one hand and territorial cohesion on the other. Lagging regions will also require interventions creating framework conditions, and those territorial assets which they are missing.

Sie bezieht sich daher auf Textsorten wie Reiseführer oder geographische Sachtexte, die visuell wahrnehmbare Szenerien beschreiben. Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Reihenfolge, in welcher die Bestandteile des Raums eingeführt werden, woraus eine Klassifikation von ,Blickführungstypen‘ abgeleitet wird. Auf dieser Basis werden entsprechende Effekte und Funktionen verschiedener Strategien der Raumkonstitution analysiert. The study examines the linguistic devices used in English texts to constitute an imagined space before the reader's 0inner eye.0 For this, it has recourse to text types such as travel guides or factual geographical texts wnich describe visually perceptible scenarios. The focus is on the sequence in which the elements of the space are introduced, and from this a classification is derived of different ways in which the reader’s eye is led. On this basis, the relevant effects and functions are analysed of different strategies for constituting space.

"On the basis of a reconstruction of legal theory in the tradition of Marx - a current that has been more or less silenced since the end of the 1970s - Subjectivation and Cohesion develops a critical counter-pole to the theories of law that predominate in social theory today. To this end, the works of Franz Neumann, Otto Kirchheimer, Evgeny Pashukanis, Oskar Negt, Isaac D. Balbus, the so-called 'State-derivation School', Antonio Gramsci, Nicos Poulantzas and Michel Foucault are first analysed for their strengths and weaknesses, and then combined to form a new construction: a materialist legal theory that is up to date and can avoid the shortcomings of existing theories - above all their disregard for gender relations and the reductive consequences of functionalist, economic or politicist approaches to law"--

Im Mittelpunkt steht dabei die Reihenfolge, in welcher die Bestandteile des Raums eingeführt werden, woraus eine Klassifikation von ,Blickführungstypen‘ abgeleitet wird. Auf dieser Basis werden entsprechende Effekte und Funktionen verschiedener Strategien der Raumkonstitution analysiert. The study examines the linguistic devices used in English texts to constitute an imagined space before the reader's 0inner eye.0 For this, it has recourse to text types such as travel guides or factual geographical texts wnich describe visually perceptible scenarios. The focus is on the sequence in which the elements of the space are introduced, and from this a classification is derived of different ways in which the reader’s eye is led. On this basis, the relevant effects and functions are analysed of different strategies for constituting space.

    This paper suggests a new approach for centrality measures for general (weighted) networks taking into account the importance for cohesion and relative power of connections. While existing literature either ignores the importance for cohesion or measures it by analyzing consequences arising from the failure of whole nodes, this approach analyzes consequences of tie failures. Using cooperative game theory, we assign weights to every tie of the network where the cooperative game accounts for the cohesion of the network. These weights are combined with the weights of the original network where emphasis for the latter and for cohesion can be regulated individually. Then, the degree measure and Eigenvector measure are applied. This provides the first centrality approach accounting for cohesion and relative importance/power of connections. We provide axiomatic characterizations for the degreebased measures in the case of binary networks and discuss computational complexity. Furthermore, we give examples discussing the drawbacks of existing measures in contrast to our suggested one and as a political application, we show how our Approach can be used to forcast government formation by the case of the state parliament election in Hamburg, Germany.
