    Beschaffen, Sammeln und Aufbewahren von geheimen Manuskripten und Büchern erforderten eine professionelle Kommunikation und risikobewusstes Agieren aller Beteiligten im Verborgenen. Daher gilt ein erstes Augenmerk der Aufhellung der vorhandenen Infrastruktur für die Installation von verborgenen Kommunikations- und Distributionssystemen und deren zunehmender Kommerzialisierung im 18. Jahrhundert. Befördert wurde der Kommerzialisierungsprozess durch die nüchterne Erkenntnis der Verfolgungsbehörden, die Zirkulation und Rezeption von Geheimliteratur nicht wirkungsvoll unterbinden zu können. Die Ineffizienz der Literaturkontrolle entfachte in Deutschland nicht zuletzt eine bis in das ausge-hende 18. Jahrhundert andauernde Kontroverse über eine kontrollierte Freigabe von heterodoxen Diskursen. Daher empfanden die Konsumenten dieser Art Literatur auch kein Unrechtsbewusstsein, sahen sie im Umgang mit „gefährlichen“ Texten ein Privileg der akademischen Elite, der sich Gelehrte, Sammler und Bibliophile zugehörig fühlten.

    In order to argue my hypothesis of the romantic dimension of poetry written by Frida Binder-Radler, a very little known Romanian-German author (1908-1986), better known as „poetess of the Saxon world”, I am referring to the poems of the author edited 2006 by her son Wolfgang Binder in Augsburg under the title Licht ins Dunkel (second enlarged edition). The volume contains fifty poems of which the first twenty-one were written in the German language, the other twenty-nine poems were translated from Transylvanian-Saxon dialect into German, most of them by the author herself, and published 1947 in the volume Gedichte. The idea of infinity that characterises romantic poetry, expressing itself as longing („Sehnsucht”) for a lost paradise, justifies the poems of love of Frida Binder-Radler. The elements of nature (flowers and birds, clouds and fog, moon, night and shadow), the melancholic atmosphere of her poems, but also the vivid imagery of her poetic language, its simplicity without being simple are diagnosed and interpreted as elements of a romantic-poetical arsenal.

    Beyond the communicative function of death notices, to informe about a death case, one will be repeatedly surprised by auxiliary functions of this category of private notices. The following article analizes from an intercultural perspective the representation of the (professional) identity in obituaries and death notices pertaining to a Romanian and a German corpus – the achievements attained to in the job environment and – in case of a blurred or merely outlined professional identity – on interests outside of one’s job, which were cherished by the deceased to the effect of shaping and defining him.

    In this work we aim to analyze the statute of the Romansh language and of its idioms in the Grison/Graubűnden Canton (Switzerland), from the Sursilvan lyrics perspective of Tresa Rűther-Seeli and her contemporary, Linard Candreia. Because of the massive split of the five Romanic idioms with own writing, of the fact that none of them had developed into a standard literary language, as well as of the massive decrease in the population who speaks them, the situation of these idioms becomes dramatic, in spite of and because of the intervention of the political factor to impose a standard official language – Romansh.

    Two Romanian authors, Nora Iuga and Carmen Francesca Banciu have published their impressions about the German capital Berlin. Nora Iuga stayed there twice for a limited period of time (in 2000 and in 2010), whereas Carmen Francesca Banciu decided to live in Berlin after her scholarship there ended in 1991. This is why Carmen Francesca Banciu’s writing changed together with the changing city, which was then under construction not only literally but also in a figurative way integrating new influences due to the opening of Eastern Europe after the end of its isolation during the Cold War. She is one of those new elements which reshape Berlin adding new and different perspectives to its cultural life. Banciu publishes her impressions in Berlin ist mein Paris. Nora Iuga, on the other hand, remains nothing but a visitor. Her ideas about the City and about the Germans in general change a lot during her stays in Berlin. In the end, she leaves for Bucharest with new impressions, which are released in Romania in her book Berlinul meu e un monolog.
