    Inwiefern können jugendkulturelle Medienwelten als Schnittstelle für Bildungsprozesse fruchtbar gemacht werden? Triple A Blockbusterfilme werden gemeinhin als profanes Unterhaltungskinos gekennzeichnet, dass einzig und allein dem Zweck dient, seinen Produzenten immense Gewinne an der Kinokasse und über Merchandising-Artikel in die Taschen fließen zu lassen. Dass dies der Fall ist, steht außer Frage. Aber ist das wirklich alles, was sich über diese Filme sagen lässt? 'Hollywoodpädagogik' stellt sich der Aufgabe, diese Filme näher zu beleuchten. Wieso gelingt es diesen Filmen immer wieder, Menschen zahlreich in die Kinos zu locken? Basiert der Erfolg dieser Filme tatsächlich nur auf ausgefeilten hochbudgetierten Marketingkonzepten? Wieso scheitern dann einige Filme grandios, die ebenfalls über entsprechende Budgets und Marketingkonzepte verfügen? In diesem Buch wird die These aufgestellt, dass der Erfolg in der Narration und den Identifikationsfiguren dieser Filme liegt. Die Helden dieser Filme sind Lernende und die Narration des Films lässt sich als eine Metadidaktik von Lehr-Lernprozessen lesen. Diese Metadidaktik führt die Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer so durch die Filme, dass sie dabei selbst zu Lernenden werden und über dies hinaus, zumindest Ahnungen davon entwickeln, was das Lernen des Lernens bedeutet und wie es funktioniert.
