    Majetschak (Jahrgang 1960, zuletzt BA 2/06), stellt grundlegende Denkfiguren der philosophischen Ästhetik vor. Zunächst skizziert der Kasseler Philosophieprofessor Ansätze von Baumgarten, Kant und Hegel. Im 2. Teil geht es um wichtige ästhetisch-kunstphilosophische Positionen, die von der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts an bis heute von Newman, Heidegger, Adorno, Wittgenstein u.a. entwickelt wurden und die den "Selbstverständlichkeitsverlusten" der Kunst in der Moderne Rechnung tragen. So man geht z.B. nicht mehr davon aus, dass die Kunst der Schönheit oder der Nachahmung der Natur verpflichtet sei. Der Glaube, dass der Künstler ein innovatives Genie sein müsse, dass Kunst den Gesichtspunkten von Erkenntnis und Wahrheit oder dem Gelingen der Form genügen müsse, galt ebenfalls nicht für alle Zeit. Eher neigt man der Ansicht zu, dass Kunstwerke multiperspektivisch gelesen werden können. Welche Erklärungsart das Werk für jemanden wirklich verständlich macht, muss offen bleiben, meint der Autor. Eine aufschlussreiche, z.T. spannende Lektüre für philosophisch versierte und um Kunstverständnis bemühte Leser. (2)

Zunächst skizziert der Kasseler Philosophieprofessor Ansätze von Baumgarten, Kant und Hegel. Im 2. Teil geht es um wichtige ästhetisch-kunstphilosophische Positionen, die von der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts an bis heute von Newman, Heidegger, Adorno, Wittgenstein u.a. entwickelt wurden und die den "Selbstverständlichkeitsverlusten" der Kunst in der Moderne Rechnung tragen. So man geht z.B. nicht mehr davon aus, dass die Kunst der Schönheit oder der Nachahmung der Natur verpflichtet sei. Der Glaube, dass der Künstler ein innovatives Genie sein müsse, dass Kunst den Gesichtspunkten von Erkenntnis und Wahrheit oder dem Gelingen der Form genügen müsse, galt ebenfalls nicht für alle Zeit. Eher neigt man der Ansicht zu, dass Kunstwerke multiperspektivisch gelesen werden können. Welche Erklärungsart das Werk für jemanden wirklich verständlich macht, muss offen bleiben, meint der Autor. Eine aufschlussreiche, z.T. spannende Lektüre für philosophisch versierte und um Kunstverständnis bemühte Leser. (2)
