    The aim of this paper is to analyze the concept of body developed by Luhmann's systems theory. Privileged places where one can look for the body will be the interpenetration between human beings and the concept of socialization. Another fundamental problem is the relationship between semantics and body, although the most explicit presence of the body in this theory comes with the concept of symbiotic mechanisms or symbols. The last place where this enquiry will look for a bodily reference are emotions, which were highly ignored by Luhmann. Alternative approaches explored in the paper are treating the body as a structure, as a medium or as an internal environment. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el concepto de cuerpo desarrollado por la teoría de sistemas de Luhmann. Algunos lugares privilegiados para encontrar al cuerpo en este contexto son la interpenetración entre seres humanos y el concepto de socialización. Otro problema fundamental es la relación entre semántica y cuerpo, si bien la presencia más explícita del cuerpo en esta teoría se encuentra en el concepto de mecanismos o símbolos simbióticos. El último lugar donde esta investigación buscará una referencia corporal es en las emociones, las cuales fueron largamente ignoradas por Luhmann.     Este texto busca caracterizar a imagem de pensamento (Denkbild) como um gênero particular de composição que mistura filosofia e literatura, conceito e imagem. O argumento central é o de que, devido às suas peculiaridades formais, a imagem de pensamento possui tanto um forte teor intersubjetivo, quanto a capacidade como de fazer surgir o não-idêntico em experiências cotidianas. Desse combinação surge um tipo de escrita prática, que merece ser recuperada no presente. This text strives to characterize the thought-image (Denkbild) as a genre that combines philosophy and literature, concept and image. The main argument therein is that due to its formal peculiarities, the thought-image is endowed with both a strong intersubjetive thrust and the capacity to wrest the non-identical from everyday experiences. From this combination a kind of writing emerges that is intrinsically practical, and which deserves to be recuperated in the present.

    Although the dominance is a phenomenon that can be observed, it is difficult to determine its position theoretically and precisely. However, Michel Foucault argued that dominance influences the social spaces so that dominance with temporary configurations and discourse structures can make themselves visible (Srubar 2009 :201). In this context, it is not wrong to say that the space is an important element to be avoided the temporality and to resist the memory against the time. One of the most important thinkers of the 20th century is Edmund Husserl whose ideas have contributed to making the analysis of philosophy, sociology, and psychology. The aim of the work is to analyse the National September 11 Memorial&Museum by using Husserl's phenomenology as a method. Thus, it is aimed to evaluate the museum, which is accepted as a memory place, with the reference to Husserl. Tahakküm, her ne kadar gözlemlenebilen bir olgu olsa da, teorik olarak yerini tam olarak belirlemek oldukça güçtür. Fakat Michel Foucault söz konusu tahakkümün sosyal mekânlara nüfuz ettiğini ileri sürmüş, böylelikle de geçici konfigürasyonlar ve söylem yapıları ile tahakkümün kendisini görünür kılabildiğini belirtmiştir (Srubar 2009: 201). Bu bağlamda söz konusu geçiciliğin önüne geçilebilmesi ve belleğin zamana direnmesi için mekânın önemli bir unsur olduğunun söylenilmesi yanlış olmaz. 20. yüzyılın en önemli düşünürlerinden biri olan Edmund Husserl'in öne sürmüş olduğu fikirler felsefe, sosyoloji ve psikoloji alanında analizlerin yapılmasına katkı sağlamıştır. Bu noktada çalışmanın amacı, Husserl'in temellerini atmış olduğu ve bir öz ontolojisi olan fenomenoloji yöntem olarak kullanılarak, 11 Eylül Müzesi'nin analizinin yapılmasıdır. Böylelikle de hafıza mekânı olarak kabul edilen müzenin Husserl referans alınarak göstergebilim üzerinden değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır

    This paper presents a contrastive analysis of auto- and hetero-stereotypes of Bosnians and Germans. The analysis is based on data collected from respondents choosing from a list of 140 characteristics. The anonymous online questionnaire asked respondents to identify those characteristics that they considered to be connected with their own culture or with the other culture, and to give their reasons for their choice (in the case of the most important characteristics). The analysis based on this data reveals how Germans and Bosnians perceive themselves and each other. It also enables the compilation of a list of stereotypes based on the most frequently identified characteristics, which can be used as a basis for further analysis and interpretation. This first analysis is intended as a foundation for future analyses of ethnic stereotypes among Germans and ethnic groups in the western Balkans: Bosnians, Serbs and Croats.

    Als Schlüsseltext für die diskursgeschichtliche Durchdringung und Verdichtung zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts und zugleich als exemplarische Präsentation und Reflexion des Übergangs vom Fin-de-siècle zur emphatischen Moderne kann die experimentelle "Mythe" des Expressionisten Robert Müller gelten: die Erzählung "Irmelin Rose".

    Noch bevor im Jahre 1915 mit den "Tropen" der vielleicht bedeutendste expressionistische Roman erscheint, hat dessen Autor mit der hier verhandelten Erzählung aus dem Jahre 1914 einen Text geschaffen, der mit Hilfe von Diskurs- und Stilzitaten die artistisch-eskapistische Tendenz des Jugendstil-Ästhetizismus mit der technizistisch-expressiven Mythisierung und Dämonisierung der modernen Lebenswelt paradigmatisch konfrontiert.
