Eesti võrdleva kirjandusteaduse assotsiatsioon (EVKA) | Estonian Association of Comparative Literature
The Estonian Association of Comparative Literature (Eesti võrdleva kirjandusteaduse assotsiatsioon, EVKA) is a non-profit organization founded in Tartu in 1994. It is located at the Department of Comparative Literature, University of Tartu. The purpose has been stated as follows: "to open the way for new philosophical and literary ideas in the world to Estonia and at the same time to introduce the literary and cultural thought of Estonia to the wider world".
The EVKA is a member of the International Association for Comparative Literature (AILC / ICLA). Since 1996, EVKA has been publishing the international journal Interlitteraria.
