    Other ; Travelogues involve different truth claims, depending on whether their authors attempt on the one hand to convey received knowledge about entities and places, or on the other hand, present accounts of the traveler character’s own experiences. This study focuses on a travelogue from 1764 written by the Arabian Nights’ Syrian storyteller, Ḥanna Dyāb. Having written his travelogue more than 50 years after his trip to Paris, he evidently conceived of his narrative as a means to re-enact his experiences as a young traveler. To describe his particular self-staging in this autodiegetic narration “before fiction” (Paige 2011), I argue that an understanding of focalization as a graded visual mediation between the character’s inner life and the reader is needed. This approach helps one grasp how, with reference to Dyāb’s travelogue, truth is not something the traveler witnesses, but rather something the reader is invited to realize. I conclude that, with this shift from witnessing to visualization (Vergegenwärtigung), Dyāb’s travelogue fulfills a core function of literature.

Der Band spiegelt die ganze Vielfalt von Tolstojs theologischem und kirchenkritischem Engagement: Neben Traktaten wie »Kirche und Staat« oder »Religion und Sittlichkeit« sowie Auszügen aus längeren Schriften enthält er zahlreiche kleinere Texte: religiöse Briefe, Tagebucheinträge, Fragmente, Aphorismen, Gebete und Gleichnisse. Tolstojs Entwürfe werden von Theologen, Philosophen und Literaturwissenschaftlern neu bewertet und kritisch gewürdigt.     Abstract: This article is based on an attempt to introduce and study a new-found manuscript containing four Hadith books: "Tohfa-al-seddigh, Fasl-al-khetab, Ons-al-lohfan, Matlubon-kolle-taleb." These four Hadith books include Hadiths of the first four caliphs, interpreted by Rashid-al-din Vatvat; distinguished writer of sixth century in Kharazmshahian court. The remarks of two hadith books (Fasl-al-khetab and Matlubon-kolle-taleb) are also changed into persion poem. With a thematic point of view, some scribes have collected these four Hadith books into one book and named it: "Remarks of the four Chosen fellows" or " Hundred remarks of the four prophets fellows".     Abstract: It is not an easy task to learn complicated political and social situation of Abbasid history and its impact on the behavior of kingdom and ruling classes. Prince Abdullah ibn Moataz is a poet and author and one-night king who entered poetry and literature by autocracy spirit. There are issues like description, wine, glory, pray and epics in his poets, his book namely Al-Badie (Niche) and his proses. He is a poet born in political strangulation and observed assigning and withdrawing frequent Abbasid rulers by Turk commanders including the murderer of his father. Then, by his mother's ingenuity, he resorted to poetry and literature. He never forgot these bitter memories. However, it was not only influential in his one-day administration, but also it caused his homicide like previous Caliphs. In present paper, in terms of ibn Moataz's autocratic basis is technically analyzed by his complete poetical works.     Abstract: Blossoms of Persian poetry, although inspired by the pure nature, gradually took the attractive qualities of mysticism. In traditions, the Holy Quran is called the burgeoning of hearts and the greatest prophet (peace be upon him) is referred to as the burgeoning of souls. Spring in Persian literature is sometimes the symbol of improvement and deliverance and at other times is considered as the symbol of the afterlife. Actually, this is the highest symbol of spring in Persian literature.Desert land of Yazd bears fragrant flowers, in spite of its natural wrath, tickles the taste of souls of the pious people. One of these scented flowers is the deceased Behjati whose pen name is "Shafaq" and spring in his poetry possessed the qualities of revolution. It focuses on these features of Forough’s poem from a different point of view towards social issues. This article studies the social meanings of Forough’s poem that are specialized for her. It tries to show the feminism poem which is unique in Iran.
