    This article approaches affinities between Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) and Immanuel Kant (1724-1804), especially regarding Kant's "Critique of Judgment". Herein, this study investigates the theoretical dialogue that implicitly or explicitly permeates Goethe's thought and the work of the philosopher of Königsberg involving concepts such as Art, Nature and the Sublime. Este ensaio aborda afinidades entre Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) e Immanuel Kant (1724-1804), principalmente em relação à "Crítica da Faculdade do juízo" kantiana. Investiga-se assim o diálogo teórico que implícita ou explicitamente permeia o texto goethiano e a obra do filósofo de Königsberg envolvendo temas, tais como Arte, Natureza e Sublime.

    In this article I analyze the synchronic presence, within the German academic production of the last decades, of works which can be together understood as part of an uncoordinated effort of epistemologic renewal and historization of the artistic episteme. From the contributions of different authors I synthesize the constitutive lines of those two issues, which were distinct, although convergent in their consequences for the comprehension of art and critique. First, I show how the epistemologic renewal was intermeshed with new patterns of perception of time and with the scientific concept of emergence; then, I discuss how the historization of the artistic episteme was strongly devoted to the institutional critique. Throughout the article, I highlight the critical component of those two forms of historization, both of which were motivated by a sense of dissatisfaction with the current condition – in the 1970s and 80s – of the aesthetic thought. O artigo analisa a presença sincrônica, na produção acadêmica alemã das últimas décadas, de trabalhos que, em conjunto, podem ser compreendidos como parte de um esforço nãocoordenado de renovação epistemológica e de historicização da episteme artística. Das contribuições de autores diversos são sintetizadas as linhas de constituição daquelas duas grandes problemáticas, que foram distintas, porém convergentes, em seus desdobramentos para a compreensão da arte e da crítica de arte. De um lado, mostra-se a imbricação da renovação epistemológica com novos padrões de percepção do tempo e com o conceito científico de "emergência"; de outro, vê-se como a historicização da episteme artística esteve fortemente dedicada à crítica institucional. Ao longo da apresentação, dá-se destaque ao componente critic daquelas duas formas de historicização, motivadas, como elas foram, pela insatisfação com a condição atual – nas décadas de 1970 e 1980 – da arte e do pensamento.

    João Guimarães Rosa was strongly influenced by the German literature, philosophy and music. The German tradition and its methods of associations suggested him to develop his own methodologies from the substrates provided by traditional Brazilian songs. This paper shows the general effects of musical techniques in short-stories of "Sagarana", the influence of Heidegger´s philosophy and the use of the concept of Wagner´s 'Grundmotiv' in "O burrinho pedrês" and "Sarapalha". Finally, it is proposed some connections between "A hora e vez de Augusto Matraga" (ROSA) and "Parsifal", by Wagner. A proximidade entre música, filosofia e literatura na tradição alemã e seus métodos de aproveitamento dessas relações marcou profundamente João Guimarães Rosa, possibilitandolhe desenvolver trilhas próprias a partir dos substratos oferecidos pelas cantigas tradicionais brasileiras. Os efeitos gerais das técnicas musicais em "Sagarana", a influência de conceitos da filosofia de Heidegger, a utilização do 'Grundmotiv' wagneriano em "O burrinho pedrês" e "Sarapalha" e as semelhanças entre a narrativa "A hora e vez de Augusto Matraga" e a opera "Parsifal", de Wagner, constituem o objeto desta reflexão. Die Nähe zwischen Musik, Philosophie und Literatur in der deutschen Tradition und in ihren Methoden faszinierte João Guimarães Rosa zutiefst. Aus dem deutschen Beispiel heraus entwickelte er seine Methodenlehre der Organisation der brasilianischen traditionellen Lieder. Dieser Artikel diskutiert die allgemeine Wirkung der musikalischen Schreibtechniken in ausgewählten Kurzgeschichten aus dem Band "Sagarana": In "O burrinho pedrês" und "Sarapalha" wird der Einfluss von Heideggers Philosophie diskutiert bei gleichzeitiger Berücksichtigung vom Wagnerischen Konzept des 'Grundmotiven': In "A hora e a vez de Augusto Matraga" werden die Beziehungen zu Wagners "Parsifal" analysiert.

    The study "Two poems of Friedrich Hölderlin" is Walter Benjamin's first major critical work. Regarding this essay, the interpreters have been so far concerned with Benjamin's more general thesis and influences, without taking further acknowledgement of the heterodox twists active on his exegetical strategies. But, beyond the veil of the essay's methodological principles, it is possible to recognize the roots of a modern approach to Hölderlin's poetics, where the classical idealistic motives are replaced with a more sensual and materialist reading. Such turn would respond to the presence of early intuitions that eventually will become significant critical axes in Benjamin's thought. El estudio "Zwei Gedichte von Friedrich Hölderlin" es el primer ensayo crítico de Walter Benjamin. Respecto de dicho ensayo, los intérpretes se han concentrado en sus tesis e influencias más generales, sin reconocer por otro lado ciertos giros heterodoxos presentes en su lectura de Hölderlin. Así, tras el velo de sus postulados crítico-metodológicos, es possible reconocer un abordaje moderno de la poética hölderliniana, donde los motivos filosóficoidealistas aparecen desplazados por una lectura sensual y materialista. Dicho giro obedece a la presencia de intuiciones que más tarde constituirán los ejes fundamentales del pensamiento benjaminiano.

    Kraus’s last long text, "Dritte Walpurgisnacht" ("Third Walpurgis Night") was the satirist's reaction to Hitler's seizure of power. It offers the translator a great variety of problems because the author makes an exuberant use of quotations, puns, alliterations, neologisms and variations of sentences, proverbs, maxims and commonplaces. This paper presents some of these problems, discussing possibilities for their resolution, as well as defines a theoretical approach. Último texto de fôlego de Kraus, "Dritte Walpurgisnacht" ("Terceira noite de Valpúrgis") foi a reação do satirista à tomada do poder por Hitler. Do ponto de vista tradutório, oferece grande variedade de problemas, visto que o autor faz um uso exuberante de citações, trocadilhos, aliterações, neologismos e variações de ditos, provérbios, máximas e lugarescomuns. Este artigo apresenta alguns desses problemas e discute possibilidades para sua solução, não sem antes definir uma abordagem teórica. Kraus' letzter langer Text, "Dritte Walpurgisnacht" war die Reaktion des Satirikers auf Hitlers Machtergreifung. Er bietet eine große Vielfalt von Übersetzungsproblemen, da der Autor einen üppigen Gebrauch von Zitaten, Wortspielen, Alliterationen, Wortschöpfungen und Variationen zu Sprüchen, Sprichwörtern, Maximen und Gemeinplätzen macht. In diesem Aufsatz werden einige solcher Probleme vorgestellt und Lösungsmöglichkeiten erörtet, nicht ohne zuvor einen theoretischen Ansatz festzulegen.
